Do you have white cedar logs for sale? We’ll buy them from you!

In order to maintain our production rate and meet the growing needs of our customers, we must constantly maintain the supply within our facilities!

Selection criteria

The respect for the environment, the optimal use of resources and the protection of our forests are both priorities and constant concerns at Bardeaux Lajoie. As a result, our selection criteria are just as rigorous as they are precise.

Type of logs

Shingle logs

Minimum length:
2,56 m / 8 feet and 4 inches

Minimum tip diameter:
20 cm / 8 inches

Maximum tip diameter:
No maximum

Fork:
None is accepted

Sawlogs

Minimum length:
2,56 m / 8 feet and 4 inches

Minimum tip diameter:
10 cm / 4 inches

Maximum tip diameter:
24 cm

Fork:
None is accepted

How does it work?

Transporting your logs

We'll be waiting for your logs at our Saint-Eusèbe facility. You can do the transport yourself or let a trusted carrier do it for you.

Receiving and analyzing your wood

As soon as we receive your cedar, our team of experts will conduct an in-depth analysis. It will be inspected, measured and graded according to our rigorous standards and requirements. Would you like some tips and tricks to maximize your next load? Our staff will be delighted to assist you!

Quick payment

Bardeaux Lajoie makes it a point of honor to process your payment as quickly as possible. Our maximum lead time is between 15 and 20 days. Guaranteed!

Shingle logs can be stacked separately from sawlogs, but this method is not mandatory.

Specie

Do you have other species mixed with your cedar logs? To facilitate our process, we recommend that you do not include them in your stacks.

Diameter

The diameter at the thinnest end of your log should measure at least 24 cm; there is no maximum for the thickest end.

Curves

Curves in cedar logs are accepted.

Splinters and debris

We cannot accept log splinters or debris. Please exclude them from your stacks.

Fork

Forks are accepted.

Workable area

If your log has less than 50% of its surface decayed, we can accept it as is. On the other hand, if more than 50% of its diameter is unusable, we’ll ask you to cut it into sections of up to 40 cm in length.

Sawlogs cans be stacked separately from shingle logs, but this method is not mandatory.

Workable area

The log must be clean and free of decayed area over its entire diameter.

Payment process

Rest assured that we will process your payment as quickly as possible, between 15 and 20 days after we receive your cedar.
