Amerindians have been using Eastern white cedar for medicinal purposes for many centuries.
White cedar
Light brown when freshly cut, Eastern white cedar gradually evolves to a uniform silvery-gray over the years. It gives off a spicy, aromatic scent, making all your construction and renovation projects a pleasure!
To date, all the latest technological research has failed to imitate the unique characteristics and performance of the white cedar. Its natural color variations, tight grain and soft texture cannot be reproduced by plastic or composite materials.
Main uses
As well as being widely used as an ornamental tree in outdoor yards – notably to form screens and hedges – cedar can also be used in a number of ways, including:
